Gary Giggles is one of the two central antagonists in Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams and a cameo character in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over. He is a rival of Juni Cortez and was in love with his rival's older sister and vice versa.

History[]

Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams[]

In Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams, Gary Giggles is first seen getting the Transmooker from the president's daughter. Gary and Juni have a great deal of conflict between them because of Carmen's crush on Gary.

His father is an evil mastermind, and throughout the film, Juni warns Carmen about Gary because he has a sense that he is trouble. In the end, he turns out to be trouble, given that his father is a criminal.

At the end of the film, Gary tells Carmen that he might change his ways and switch over to the "good side" of espionage. However, when he walks away, his sunglasses read, "Bad Boy", leaving his alignment ambiguous.

Spy Kids 3: Game Over[]

In Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, he is seen for the last scene were Carmen calls him for help (while he was at an award ceremony that he had won Spy of the Year). When she almost gets eaten by one of the Destructos, he rescues her. Then he helps the Cortez family and friends with his sister to defeat the Destructos. This implies that he did switch over to the good side and redeemed himself.
