Spy Kids Wiki
TWC

The Weinstein Company (usually credited or abbreviated as TWC) was an American independent film studio, founded by Bob and Harvey Weinstein in 2005. TWC was one of the largest mini-major film studios in North America prior to the firing of Harvey Weinstein following allegations of harassment and assault against him, as well as financial troubles that followed. The studio eventually declared bankruptcy in February 2018, with independent studio Lantern Entertainment acquiring a majority of its film library and assets.

The Weinstein Company owned the distribution rights to Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, while Miramax Films distributed Spy Kids, Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams, and Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over.

2 days before the launch of Spy Kids: Mission Critical on Netflix, the Weinstein Company was removed as distributor. Dimension Television, a division of Dimension Films, took over production and is credited. Bob Weinstein's name was also removed from the show. As of July 11, 2018, Netflix terminated its output contract with the Weinstein Company, and no longer accepts deliveries or make payments to the studio.
